Main components of polyurethane foam production line

The foaming polyurethane production line usually includes the following key parts:

(1) Raw material storage and transportation system
Raw materials: mainly include polyether polyol (Polyol), isocyanate (MDI/TDI), catalyst, foaming agent, stabilizer, etc.
Storage tank: used to store liquid chemical raw materials, equipped with stirring, heating, cooling, and other functions.
Transportation system: transport raw materials to the mixing system through pipelines, metering pumps, and filters to ensure accurate proportioning.
(2) Metering and mixing system
Metering pump: A high-precision metering pump ensures that each raw material is transported to the mixing head according to the set ratio.
High-pressure mixing head: core component, high-speed mixing of raw materials, ensuring uniform reaction and improving foam quality.
(3) Foaming and molding system
Foaming machine: according to product requirements, low-pressure or high-pressure foaming is carried out to control foam density and structure.
Mold or conveyor belt:
Mold molding: used to make fixed-shaped foam, such as car seats, shoe soles, furniture cushions, etc.
Continuous conveyor belt: suitable for the production of PU sheets, thermal insulation materials, etc.
(4) Curing and cutting system
Curing area: Allow the foam to complete the chemical reaction and achieve the final physical properties.
Cutting equipment: Used to cut foam sheets or other shapes, such as CNC cutting machines, hot wire cutting machines, etc.
(5) Collection and packaging system
Automatic stacker: Used to collect finished foam blocks or sheets.
Packaging system: Including compression packaging machines, stretch film packaging machines, etc., for storage and transportation.
