The cyclopentane premix system is a device for achieving accurate proportioning and safe mixing of raw materials in the polyurethane foaming process. The cyclopentane premix system accurately measures and mixes various polyurethane raw materials such as isocyanate, polyether polyol, catalyst, foaming agent, flame retardant, etc. according to a certain formula ratio to form a uniform premix for subsequent production of polyurethane products. During the mixing process, the stirring motor is driven by a magnetic coupling to ensure the safety of cyclopentane in a closed environment. The fully mixed raw materials are temporarily stored in an intermediate material tank with nitrogen pressure maintenance and transported to the foaming machine through a pipeline system for polyurethane foam production.
The cyclopentane premix system is operated in coordination by five functional modules. The raw material storage area adopts a graded storage tank layout. The premix tank stores single-component raw materials, the mixing tank receives the primary mixed materials, and the post-mix tank is used to stabilize the finished product after the secondary mixing. The storage tank has a built-in heating and insulation layer to keep the viscosity of the raw materials stable, and the stirring device is used to prevent stratification. The metering system is centered on dual metering pumps, and is equipped with flow meters to monitor the ratio error in real time. When the error exceeds the limit, an alarm is triggered and adjustments are made. The mixing system adopts a three-stage mixing design. The static mixer achieves micro-homogenization through forced diversion by spiral blades. The multi-blade structure in the mixing tank strengthens macro-mixing, and the continuous low-speed stirring of the intermediate tank prevents phase separation during storage. The control system is the "brain" of the premixing station, integrating Siemens PLC and safety interlock modules to achieve full process automation. The system interacts with the main control of the foaming machine in real time to support zero-interruption replenishment of raw materials in continuous production mode. In terms of safety protection, the machine is equipped with a multi-stage explosion-proof mechanism to reduce operational risks. The conveying system adopts double-layer sealed pipes and electronically controlled stop valves, and is equipped with explosion-proof pumps to achieve leak-free transmission of the mixture. The path covers the foaming machine, filling line and external storage and transportation equipment.
